Nice when the stars ratings match up with the experience. Had two burgers tonight with chips and thought they were excellent. Double cheeseburger was meaty, juicy, not too oily and had enough veggies and condiments to complement the burger without falling apart. Southern fried chicken burger was awesome. Fresh and crunchy, chicken fillet was actually a proper chunk of meat and not just a piece of fried chicken placed inside a burger. Jalopenos were juicy and mildly spicy. Great combo. Both of the burgers were a good reasonable size for its price. Shoe string chips were fresh and tasty. Really happy to have discovered this awesome local burger shop. See you again soon.
I love a good burger and I was surprised that I didn't try South Rd Burgers before. So last week I visited it and grabbed their spicy burger and chips. And I was very impressed, the burger was big and very tasty. The quality of the meat was up there and it visually looked like those burgers that you will make a mess while you are eating it. And I love that in a burger, the string fries didn't last very long because I was munching on them while driving home. Very happy to have found a burger shop that I don't have to drive to far to pick up if needed. One thing I will want to see is menus that you can take home rather than having to use an app. It's much easier than having to use my phone for more thing's that I'm already using it for. Great small little burger store located on a small shopping strip off the busy road. Quick and efficient service. Dining in was a little cold as the heating was not turned on and the front door was left open. Every cold gust could be felt. However that did not deter from the delicious and juicy burgers. Loved the crispy bread in particular. The patty had a nice crust and was salted perfectly. The Poutine was also done well with copious amount of gravy and melted cheese. Definitely recommend if driving pass!!
The chicken pesto pizza was delicious! The ratio of crust, to each topping was perfect. The gentleman that served me was kind. He advised 10-15 minute wait for my pizza. I was able to see him in his flow making pizza through the small glass panel. I'll definitely be back!
The burgers, Poutine,loaded fries and crispy fried onions were tasty. The service was absolutely amazing. The restroom is tiny but it's clean. The food was really yummy. The price is pretty decent. I will definitely go there again.
One of the best burgers in town! Fresh ingredients, juicy patties, and amazing flavors. Highly recommend if you’re craving a delicious, satisfying meal! Staff is also friendly
Burger and chips were so yummy! I got a small chips and grilled chicken burger and it came to $21, which is really good value considering the burger was huge and the chips were also huge! I will definitely be back as the food was great and it was ready pretty quick on a Saturday night. Thank you
This place makes some absolutely amazing burgers and sides. Wide range of chicken, beef, pork and a decent couple of veggo options. The portion size is hefty, the sides cooked to perfection. We tried the jalapeño popper croquettes and onion rings to begin. Crispy and cooked to perfection. The food was so moreish and we left feeling well fed and beyond full, but not oily or gross as you would expect after noshing down on American style cuisine. We also ordered the banana cake shake which was beyond delicious. Real banana in there you could taste, perfectly balanced and bits of cake. My friends ordered the PB shake which tasted like sweet liquid peanut butter, it was so divine. The owner was personable and attentive. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you aren’t in the area - make the drive. Drove 25 minutes for this. Have driven longer distances for food that can’t even compare to how enjoyable this was.
